The liquidity risk audit: How will you approach it?
Technical topics to be covered include:
- The liquidity reporting and governance structure
- Liquidity management information
- Local and global cash and working capital management
- Subsidiary cash reporting to form a consolidated view of liquidity risk
- Available facility headroom and credit lines
- Short and longer term cash flow forecasting and the use of stress testing to demonstrate the potential impact of more severe liquidity events
The presentation will be in the form of an interactive workshop encouraging group discussion, exchanging experiences and presenting a practical approach to your liquidity risk audit.

- An overview of the regulatory environment of pensions
- The role of the trustee - risk management as part of good governance
- Brief overview of defined benefit schemes and defined contribution schemes

- The role of internal audit: key areas of concern; strategic issues and gaining executive buy in; problems and pitfalls
