The aim of this course is to help participants develop their skills in delivering an effective audit
Who should attend
- new entrants to internal audit who do not necessarily anticipate remaining in internal audit as their chosen career path
- those seeking an initial taster of the work of internal audit
- specialists who join or are seconded to the internal audit team to assist with specific projects or assignments that also require other technical expertise, for example engineering, health and safety or IT professionals.
This course will be suitable for those who have already had exposure to business and organisational practices through work experience

Pre-work
Before the course, you are asked to familiarise yourself with the issues discussed in the complementary study text and complete the preliminary assessment of your level of skills. You are also asked to reflect on situations, either current or anticipated where you may need to enhance your skills in delivering an effective audit
