Discussion forums

The discussion forum provides an opportunity for members to debate internal auditing issues in depth with other practicing professionals, to seek input on specific work challenges, and for experienced internal auditors to share their knowledge with others who are newer to the profession. Use the different categories to make it easy to find topics that interest you.

Posts are made immediately. We ask members to respect fellow posters and the rules of the forum. Institute staff will continue to review postings. Posts that are considered to infringe the rules will be suspended and the poster contacted. The Institute's decision is final.

We are providing a space where internal audit stakeholders - audit committee members or executive managers of every level - can seek advice and information. They are asked to submit a question using the 'Ask the Institute' form and can view the responses in the forum entitled 'Helping the professions stakeholders'. Please be generous with responses to such questions.

As part of the exclusive services offered to members of the Heads of Internal Audit Service, we have provided a conference reserved for them to network and to share information with other members. Apart from that all areas of the forum are open to all members.

There is currently no facility available for private messaging within the forums. Those who wish to contact another member by email may email the IIA webmaster and request their own address be supplied to the member (nickname) they wish to communicate with.
