Using the resource library search engine
Select the filters in the most effective way:
Principal keyword - all documents have been allocated to one of seven main categories: Business Economics and Management, Governance, Internal control, Internal audit, Internal audit management, Internal audit practices, Organisational Context, Risk management. The database will search for the principal keyword first. If no documents exist with your principal keyword then no results will be returned.
Secondary keyword - documents may have more than one keyword. The secondary keyword is auto filled from the database as you type.
Date published - if you know when the document you are seeking was published, select an appropriate timeframe
Type - allows you to focus on UK and Ireland guidance or other options.
Author/Publisher - if you know the name of the author/publisher type it here. The author/publisher is auto filled from the database as you type.
Free text search box - if you know the title, type it here. Unless you know the exact title, you might want to use just one or two words from the title, eg either 'view' or 'A view from the audit committee' will bring up the document but 'View from audit committees' will not. The free text is auto filled from the database as you type.
