Responding to consultations
The Institute responds to exposure drafts from government departments, regulators and other professional bodies and organisations to represent the profession on all matters that relate to, and affect, internal auditing. These include internal audit practices, the promotion of good governance and management of risk and the development of effective internal control.
The Policy team coordinates this work. When consultations come to our attention, we send them out to members of the profession who have expressed an interest in assisting. They read the drafts and send us comments, from which we compile an appropriate response.
