IIA Advanced Diploma in Internal Auditing and Management study programme
The study programme
IIA Learning offers study programmes for the three theory modules, and face-to-face courses for the case study module. The study programme for the theory modules consists of a distance learning programme delivered via the Internet and CD Rom, and revision workshops – both offered separately. IIA Learning offers two one-day courses for the case study module.
The distance learning programme
The distance learning programme has been designed and developed in conjunction with London South Bank University (LSBU) and includes access to internet-based resources, tutor support, assignments and mock exams. You will enrol as a LSBU student as well as an IIA Learning student, which means you will have access to a range of LSBU resources including its electronic library facilities, and range of on-line journals. In addition, we offer revision workshops to help consolidate your learning and prepare for your exams.

Revision workshops
The two-day residential revision workshops for the theory modules are designed to help you consolidate your learning, apply your knowledge to exam questions and develop your examination technique. The workshops provide you with the opportunity to discuss ideas and share knowledge with other students.

Advanced Internal Auditing case study module
The Advanced Internal Auditing module comprises of two one-day courses – a revision workshop and a seminar.
Revision workshop
The objectives of the one day workshop are to:
- assist you in constructing a framework for tackling the case study examination including an assessment of the amount of research required
- hone your ability to critically analyse and evaluate organisational issues
- review and discuss the questions from previous exams and relate these back to the case study
Seminar
The objectives of the one day seminar are to:
- review the forthcoming examination case study
- analyse the organisational issues in the case study
- assess possible areas for examination questions
