Event Details

This one-day workshop is designed for students who want additional face-to-face support to help them with their studies.


Objectives of the workshop are to:

 

  • gain a sound understanding of the development of corporate governance
  • understand the merits of voluntary and mandatory approaches to corporate governance
     
  • explore the characteristics of good corporate governance in the private, public and not-for-profit organisation
     
  • understand the role of external bodies in enhancing corporate governance
  • introduce the principles of risk management



Pre-workshop study
We recommend that you work through study units one to six of the study text before attending the workshop.
