Registration, fees and other information
We understand that embarking on a professional qualification can be a daunting prospect and we want to make the registration process as easy as possible for you. We advise that you take a few minutes to read this page so that you can learn exactly how registration operates and get to know the staff who will be supporting you through your studies. How do I register for an IIA professional qualification?
To register on one of our professional qualifications, you must complete the application below to become a student member:

You must provide proof that you meet the entry requirements for registration on the qualification. If you are sending copies of certificates to prove eligibility, or to apply for an exemption, please make sure you have certified that they are a true copy. You must also submit your fees for membership and for any exemptions that you are applying for.
How much will it cost to complete a qualification?
As you need to become a student member in order to pursue our qualifications, the initial costs will be the membership fees of:
£80 (VAT exempt) one-off application fee
£93 (VAT exempt) annual student membership fee
Other costs might include:
Exemption fees:
£50 + VAT standard exemption fee per module
£95 + VAT non-standard exemption fee per module
Examination fees:
£100+ VAT exam fee per module
Skills module fees:
£625 + VAT skills module fee per workshop
Certificate programme fee is £3,220 + VAT and covers 4 workshops and assessment.
For all other qualifications you will need to add your tuition fees to the above. Each tuition provider has different fee structure so please contact your chosen provider for details. Please visit Tuition provision site for more information.
How do I enroll on a tuition programme?
Tuition is compulsory for the Certificate and the Diploma so please ensure you contact your chosen tuition provider with regards to its enrollment process. If you have chosen to enroll with IIA Learning, you must also complete a separate IIA Learning Application Form.
What happens to my Student Membership Application Form at the IIA?
Initially your application form will go to the Membership Administrator. They will add you to the IIA's database and send you a letter confirming your membership and your individual membership number. If you ever have any membership related questions the Membership Administrator is the best person to talk to. They can be contacted on 020 7819 1906 or via email.
Your application will then go to the Examinations and Admissions Administrator, who will register you on the qualification. They will send you a letter confirming your registration and also a Student Guide. If you have applied for any exemptions you will be sent information about the status of your application at this stage. The Examinations and Admissions Administrator can be contacted on 020 7819 1928 or via email.
If you have submitted an IIA Learning application form this will be passed to the appropriate co-ordinator who will register you on your chosen tuition programme.
