Professional experience
Demonstrating experience is an important part of the Institute's professional qualification requirements. Student members need to record their experience across an identified range of audit assignments, some of which requires validation by their employer. A log of professional development and other training also needs to be kept.
Ideally students should start to complete their professional experience module log book as soon as they register for a qualification. The professional experience documentation supplied provides structure for logging experience and advice on the types of experience expected. The professional experience documentation is only reviewed once the student has completed any examination requirements of their chosen qualification. Students will need to demonstrate the required level of experience in order to complete their qualification and be awarded the designation.
