Exams are held twice a year in June and November. They are held in ten locations in the UK and Ireland, and overseas students may make arrangements to sit exams in their country of residence. Entry windows are open during the month of March for the June exams and the month of September for the November exams.
Each exam costs £124 + VAT. This price is valid for the June and November 2011 exams.

Overseas examination entries
The Institute arranges examination venues at ten locations in the UK and Ireland. Students wishing to sit their examinations outside of the these standard home venues will be required to submit a letter from their proposed venue confirming their arrangements for the examinations. Students are also required to cover the cost of the postage of exam materials to and from the venue as well as all related venue costs. IIA will apply the following charges to exams sat outside the 10 standard UK and Ireland venues:

£38.40 including VAT - Europe
£91.20 including VAT - Rest of the world
