The IIA Certificate in Internal Audit and Business Risk is a flexible and highly versatile certificated training programme, with a new syllabus and format updated in 2010. It combines theory and practical skills to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of the internal audit function. Participants at all levels will benefit from the opportunity to interact with other delegates and learn from real life examples and the latest industry trends.
The programme is made up of four individual Awards delivered through a combination of training workshops focused on a selection from governance, business risk, internal audit planning and control, and assurance. There are no examinations and assessment is by way of Personal Development Logs and a Professional Experience Record.
The workshops may also be undertaken individually, in isolation from the IIA Certificate - those wishing to participate in this way should register for their chosen workshop/s via our training course listing.
IACert designation is awarded upon successful completion.
Those wishing to progress their studies further with a professional qualification should consider the IIA Diploma in Internal Audit Practice.
