The IIA Diploma - accelerated route is open to holders of a recognised postgraduate qualification (such as a Masters, CCAB or risk qualification, or similar) who have three years' recent internal auditing experience.
The syllabus assessed is the same as that of the IIA Diploma in Internal Audit Practice but the award is examined through a single examination, the P7 Internal Audit Practice Case Study, and assessment of the candidate's professional experience journal.
Undertaking the IIA Diploma is the first step in the journey to becoming a Chartered Internal Auditor. The PIIA designation is awarded on successful completion of the qualification.
