60th Anniversary
IIA – UK and Ireland 60th Anniversary
Your Institute has been leading the internal audit profession for exactly sixty years on Wednesday 27 February 2008 - making it our Diamond anniversary.
The IIA’s birthday is an opportunity to look forward as well as back. So, to mark this milestone in the development of your Institute, we are planning to run a number special 60th anniversary activities throughout the year.

Keeping you up to date with all of the latest 60th anniversary initiatives, interviewing the Council members to find out about their membership history, creating an IIA timeline to map out your Institute's growth and providing information on prize draws and “spot” milestone winners (see below). 60th anniversary milestone winners
Over the course of this year we will be identifying a number of “60th” member milestones and presenting “spot” awards and certificates to 60th anniversary milestone winners. These “spot” award winners will also feature on our website and automatically be entered into the prize draw.
Prize draws
Later this year a fantastic prize draw will be open to all members (including any “spot” milestone winners) where we will be giving away tickets to our Annual Conference in September.
Internal Auditing - member magazine
This April we will be releasing a special “Diamond” edition of your new-look members magazine, Internal Auditing. Among the usual favorites this edition will also feature an IIA history timeline and various other anniversary related facts. To view the current issue please click here.
