The Institute of Internal Auditors – UK and Ireland (IIA) today published the latest batch of examination results for its IIA Diploma in Internal Audit Practice and IIA Advanced Diploma in Internal Auditing and Management. As a result of this latest series, a further 135 students have completed the examinations for their professional qualification leaving them with just their Professional Experience Journals to complete.
Education Director, Francis Nicholson said, “I extend my personal congratulations to all of the students who are now one step closer to gaining a professional designation of high standing and repute. Our PIIA and MIIA designations are ever more important with the increasing expectation for internal auditors to be able to demonstrate their professionalism, knowledge and expertise, especially with the prospect of chartered status for the profession. In addition I should also like to thank all the tuition providers and employers who have coaxed and supported the students through their exams.”
Recent diploma graduate Dympna Shanahan, knows what the students have been through and the benefits they can expect. She said, “The exams are hard work but the IIA Diploma is very worthwhile, it’s provided me with practical skills that I find I am using straight away. It’s a good mix of theory and practice.”
Students expecting results should visit the examinations section of the student information centre on this website, where all the results are listed by paper and candidate number. Formal results letters have also been dispatched. Further details about the IIA Diploma, IIA Diploma – accelerated route, and IIA Advanced Diploma can be also found on the website.
