Graduates Awards Ceremony 2009
The Irish District held Graduates Awards Ceremonies in Dublin on 08/10/2009 and Belfast on 21/10/2009 to mark the achievement of members who were successful in obtaining qualifications awarded by the Institute.
Dr. Ian Peters, Chief Executive of the Institute made the presentations to the new graduates.

The Irish District runs a variety of local seminars and events, including a successful annual conference, details of which can be found on the following pages and will also be advertised in the monthly Internal Auditing & Business Risk Magazine.

The Conference was held in Knightsbrook Hotel & Golf Resort, Trim, Co. Meath from 16-18 April 2008.
AGM 2008 and Graduates' Awards Ceremony
The IIA – Irish District AGM combined with a Graduates’ Awards Ceremony took place in the Atrium of Trinity College Dublin on 16th September 2008.
The AGM was opened by secretary of the committee, Elaine Murray who welcomed all to the event. Reports were delivered by Fintan Geraghty and Pamela McDonald. Special mention was made of retiring committee members: Leo Fleming, an ex-chairman of the Irish District Committee; Sean O’ Broin, a former winner of the Volunteer of the Year award and also Neville Newman. Pamela McDonald was welcomed to her new position of Regional Director.
Following the AGM business, it was time to move on to the Graduates’ Awards Ceremony. Awards were received by Ciara Graydon, Criostoir McGrath, Rosita McHugh, John Moore, Ann Nicholson, Máire Rooney, John Rose, June Stanley and Adekunle Thompson.
