IIA North East role and mission statement

The IIA North East Committee will:

• Support the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors
• Promote the internal auditing profession
• Provide Regional seminars to all its members to keep abreast of developments in the profession
• Be a point of contact for all Regional members and students to provide advice and information
• Encourage networking amongst fellow professionals to share views and ideas

Chairman's Introduction - Steve Ireland

Welcome to the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors North East. IIA North East has expanded its membership in recent years to around 700, and has significantly raised the profile of the profession.

Our Region presents professional and cost effective seminars to enable you and your teams to keep up to date with the latest developments in the internal auditing profession. These events provide an excellent opportunity for networking and help demonstrate continuing professional development. Where possible we encourage round table discussions to allow delegates to debate issues and share best practice.
