IIA North West District
To run a strong local district, meeting the needs of members in the North West. The district will:
- Support the Institute of Internal Auditors UK-Ireland by promoting internal auditing and risk management in the North West
- Provide cost effective seminars held locally in the North West, which are relevant to the needs of members and students
- Encourage networking and mutual support amongst members in the North West
- Ensure openness through the provision of information about the District on the Institute's website
- Facilitate liaison between members and interested parties in the North West and the Institute

I am delighted to have been elected Chair of the North West District. I look forward to working with my fellow committee members to continue to raise the profile of internal auditing within the region, expand our membership and provide a stimulating and informative programme of events which will meet your needs and expectations.
This is YOUR District and we are here to serve you. However, we can only do this if you let us know what you want - which topics are of interest, which speakers you'd like to hear, which tricky issues you'd just love to debate with other audit and risk professionals. The Committee currently comprises twelve volunteer members representing both the private and public sectors. We're always keen to attract new committee members with fresh ideas - so please get in touch if you would like to join us.
