Council of Higher Education Internal Auditors
CHEIA is the representative body of the internal audit profession in higher education in the United Kingdom. The objective of CHEIA is "to promote and develop the role and status of Internal Audit in Higher Education." CHEIA is organised on a regional basis (North Eastern Region, North Western Region and Southern Region). Each region normally holds two or three meetings a year and the entire membership each year and the entire membership comes together for the annual conference which is held each September.
