How to join
New members can join as a student or affiliate member. You may also be eligible to join the Heads of Internal Audit Service or a group membership scheme. Here's how to join:
Student membership
Join as a student to study for the IIA Diploma. Make sure you check the tuition and exam enrolment timings page for study deadlines.

Affiliate membership
Anybody can join as an affiliate member - it's easy. You should also join as an affiliate member if you want to register on the IIA Certificate.

Group membership
This is available for teams of 10 or more internal auditors. To check you are eligible for a group membership scheme, and to find out about costs, email membership@iia.org.uk or phone 020 7498 0101.
Heads of Internal Audit Service
You can join the IIA as a student or affiliate member at the same time as joining the Heads of Internal Audit Service. Or if you are already an IIA member, you can simply join the Service.

How quickly can I become a member?
We will be in touch within three working days of receiving your application to confirm the status of your membership. Shortly after this you will receive your welcome pack by post.
If we need further information with you eg copies of certificates, this may take longer but should never exceed three weeks.
