Self assessment checklist
This is a tool you can use to benchmark the quality of your internal audit operation, with a view to improving the service you are delivering to your organisation.
It is equally useful for in house teams and external providers.
You will compare all aspects of your internal audit operations with the IIA's International Professional Practice Framework (IPPF).
There are four elements to the checklist:
- Details of the IPPF
- Suggestions on how you can conform to the IPPF
- Your assessment of how you conform to the IPPF
- Actions needed to fill the gaps in conformance
