Council meetings

The Council meets five times a year with the President serving as Chair.  In preparing the agenda, the President considers:

  1. The advice of an informal group comprised of the President, Deputy President, Immediate Past President and the Chief Executive, and other Council members who wish to take part. The group reviews recent Council activities and discussions, checks on action points and discusses the agenda for future meetings.  It has no decision making powers.
  2. Any items brought forward by the Chairs of the five standing committees
  3. The Council standard work programme.
