COVID-19 policy

The Institute is continuing to monitor developments involving the coronavirus (now referred to as COVID-19) and is following advice from the World Health Organisation (WHO), Department of Health and Social Care and Public Health England. Therefore, our events and training course programmes are changing, and we will continue to provide updates.

We will continue to update information on our FAQs as new information becomes available.

FAQs

Q. What precautionary measures is the Institute taking at its events and conferences?

A. The Institute is continuing to monitor developments involving the coronavirus and is prepared to implement a contingency plan should the advice change.

Our staff

We’re asking staff to take sensible precautions as per UK and Irish government, NHS and HSE advice. 

Our venues

Where meetings continue, our venues take the health and safety of their clients, staff and partners very seriously and have all made provisions including the provision of sanitisation products and are also monitoring advice given by Public Health England (PHE) and adapting their procedures as required.

Q. My company has advised me not to attend large events or external training courses, am I able to rebook or cancel?

A. Our terms and conditions would still apply and can be found here

Q. Are you likely to be re-book courses/events that you cancel?

A. Where possible we will look to rebook courses/events. If you are booked onto a course or event, which is later cancelled we will contact you with further information.

Q. I have been asked to self-isolate, can I get a refund?

Q. If the Institute cancels an event or training course, will I be eligible for a refund?

A. If we cancel an event or training course, we will refund you the amount you paid. If we postpone an event/training course and you’re unable to attend, we will refund you. Please refer to our terms and conditions, which can be found here
