The Changing Face of Internal Audit in the Digital Age
The annual conference is Ireland’s flagship event and brings together internal auditors and internal audit leaders from across the country to engage with thought leaders on topical issues.
The theme for this year’s conference is The Changing Face of Internal Audit in the Digital Age. It builds on the 2018 theme of Continuing Innovation in Internal Audit by focusing on the risks and opportunities inherent in the ongoing digitalisation of services in both the private and public sectors.
We’ll examine what this means for organisations and internal audit through the lenses of behavioural and third-party risk. We’ll also explore the role of internal audit in combined assurance mapping while ensuring that internal audit meets the high-quality bar expected by stakeholders.
The conference will feature contributions from high profile industry speakers including the Irish Government’s Chief Information Officer and the Director of the National Cyber Security Centre.
