Public sector internal audit – ‘The realities’

11 December | Bristol

Following the success of last year’s Public sector focused seminar, we are returning to Bristol to explore the challenges and opportunities providing internal audit services within the Public sector can bring.

Public-sector internal auditors, as well as those from the Private-sector and third-sector, will be able to focus on the significant changes and associated difficulties facing the Public sector at this event. You will also explore the importance of a proactive internal audit function and the opportunities for internal audit to provide added value to the authority.

  • Gain an understanding of the challenges faced by an internal audit function within the Public sector.
  • Learn how you can employ practical data analytics in your reporting.
  • Understand the key issues and opportunities facing the Public sector with regards to fraud and risk management.
  • Network with your peers across Public, Private, and third-sectors and widen your professional contact base, sharing ideas, tools and techniques with fellow auditors.
