Accreditation of prior learning (APL) recognises the learning you may have gained outside of formal education and training. It allows you to demonstrate the requirements of theory module assessment through experience rather than exam.
The application process has two stages: an initial submission, and a final submission. You must have at least five years experience in internal audit to be eligible, and you will need to demonstrate your professional competence through a portfolio of professional experience.
There is no APL route available for the Certified Internal Auditor or Qualification in Internal Audit Leadership.
