What will it cost?

When you study the CIA, the mandatory costs comprise application and membership fees, the CIA learning system, and exams. Revision workshops are optional. The figures below allow you to compare the price with and without workshops.

The tuition costs are based on Chartered IIA workshops and assume you will pass first time. Tuition and exam fees are payable as you go – you won't have to pay the entire cost up front.

Because the CIA is an IIA Global certification, the application and exam fees are payable through a US-based candidate management system. These fees are priced in US dollars, as shown below.

Membership of the Chartered IIA is compulsory

You must hold membership to study the CIA. For a full list of membership fees, see our fees page.

How much will we invoice you for when you join?

When you join as a student member, we will invoice you for membership and the CIA Learning System.

Learning system per part: £200 + VAT

Membership: £234 student membership | £148 application fee | VAT exempt

Please do not raise a PO for the full amounts shown below. We cannot invoice you for exam fees – these must be paid to IIA Global direct.
